Description: The Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC intends to procure the lease of one each twenty-eight feet by 74 feet modular building. The period of performance will be from January 19, 2006 thru January 18, 2007 with the option for three 1 year periods and one 9 month period. The government intends to procure this lease on a sole source basis from Resun Leasing, Inc., dba Resun, 22810 Quicksilver Drive, Dulles, VA as the cost of removing the current modular building and installing a new modular building would impose an additional estimated expense of $122,735.72 upon the Government, which greatly exceeds the estimated contract value, including options. As such, the incumbent contractor (Resun Leasing, Inc) is the only source reasonably available. See numbered note 22.
