Description
This Amendment to the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is hereby issued to answer the following questions and to extend the proposal due date. QUESTION 1: The subject solicitation has conflicting information between the description of work and the Task information. In some areas it says 3 Preventive Maintenance services per year. In other areas it says Monthly Preventive Maintenance Service. Please define the ?intended? scope of work for Preventive Maintenance Service that you would like a proposal on.. RESPONSE: In the first paragraph delete three (3) from the statement ?The monthly maintenance shall include three (3) PM calls per year?? QUESTION 2: It is also unclear whether parts to be used during the Preventive Maintenance Service (like tune up kits, brushes, etc. are to be included in the fixed price PM quote you have requested, or whether these parts will be reimbursed to the contractor (as shown on page 2 of 4 of the combined solicitation). Please clarify. RESPONSE TO QUESTION 2: The following is hereby added to Task 1 description: Anything that would normally be replaced during a routine inspection for wear-and-tear (tune-up kits, oils, lubes, brushes, etc.) should be included in the price. If something outside the norm is required, it needs to be cleared with the POC before any work is done. Anything outside the norm would on a time-and-materials basis. QUESTION 3: Also, on page 3 of 4, the first line shows ?$ _________ Total for 3 each per month?, but here are only 2 pieces of equipment listed. RESPONSE TO QUESTION 3: On Tennant Power Sweeper, Model 155 (2 each) change Total for 3 each per month to read Total for 2 each per month. QUESTION 4: Verify the Serial Number for Tennant Power Sweeper Model 255 is actually #0545. We can not find this serial number. RESPONSE OF QUESTION 4: The Model 255, Serial Number 0545 is correct. Change the Set Aside from HBCU to read Total Small Business. The proposal due date and time is extended to December 8, 2006 @ 2:00PM EST. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (05-DEC-2006); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
