Description: In response to questions from recent Pre-Proposal Conference: ## ANY patient that can/will go to VA California locations WILL BE SENT. Patients who can?t go for justifiable reasons (acceptable to Chief of Staff), will NOT be sent out of state. Those are the patients who will be cared for under this new contract. (However, Chief of Staff may change the decision for local care if VA determines it to be in the best interest of the patient or the VA. This would be determined on a case by case basis. ) There will only be ONE CONTRACT AWARDED for VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System to care for those Radiation Oncology patients locally.
