- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information includ ed in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acq uisition Circular (FAC) 2005-14 (22 Nov 06) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 edition, and current to DCN 20061201. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa Credit Card. This requirement is 100% Set- Aside for Small Business. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3519 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 333618 with size standard of 1000 employees. All prospective bidders must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration and Orca. Offerors may register on line at http://www.ccr.gov./ for both. The anticipated contract will be firm fixed price. Quotes are being solicited for the following items: Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0001, 1 (One) each, Engine, for a 2001 International Water Tanker Truck, Mdl: 2574 6x4, 11.9 liter, 6 Cylinders, 395 Horse Power, Standard Transmission, Diesel , to include wire harness All quotes shall be clearly marked with this Solicitation number W9124R-07-T-1007 and e-mailed to Jackie.Wengstrom@yuma,army.mil or Fax 928-328-6849 no later than Close of Business Mount ain Standard Time (MST) 5:00 P.M. 12 December 2006. Offeror that fail to furnish required representations of information as required by 52.212-1, 52.212-3, and 252.212-7001 cited below, or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be exclude d from consideration. Award will be made to the low priced responsible offeror whose proposed product is determined to be technically acceptable. Minimum Salient Characteristics provided within this notice.
