Description

Sole Source Synopsis The U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, AZ intends to negotiate a fixed price contract for billeting of the United States Army Parachute Team on a sole source basis with the Directorate of Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Lodging Office, loca ted at USAYPG, Bldg 506A D Street, Yuma, AZ 85365. The period of performance will be January 9, 2007 through March 6, 2007. USAYPG is in a remote area, located approximately twenty-six (26) miles from the city of Yuma and MWR has the only lodging available within a reasonable commuting distance. Pursuant to FAR Part 12 and 13, this acquisition will be made under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 721110 with a size standard of six m illion dollars ($6,500,000.00). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED.
