Description

This is published as a sole source announcement under the authority of Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, EADS North America Defense Company, Test and Services Division , 1222 Lucas Avenue, Saint Louis, MO 63103-3193 to acquire preventive and remedial maintenance for The proposed action is for the award of a new, twelve month firm-fixed-price type contract with four, twelve month options periods, for preventive and remed ial hardware maintenance of Government-owned of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), specifically, three each of the Modular Automated Test System (MATES),and one each the Antenna Pedestal Automated Test System (APATS). This will be a new maintanence contract. The Government does not have a data package for the testers and the related tester system software was developed by and is proprietary to EADS. No competitive technical data package is available for maintenance of either system. Therefore, EADS is the o nly firm known to provide the maintenance services. Any firms believing they can provide the required service should contact the Contract Negotiator identified within ten (10) days of this notice. The NAICS Code is 811219 and the size standard is $6.5 Mil lion. W25G1V-07-R-0004 applies.
