Description

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2, Albuquerque, New Mexico is requesting bids on solicitation number 201817R007 to furnish all materials and effort to provide interpretive exhibits for the new Joseph R. Skeen Visitor Center located at Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge seven miles east of Roswell, New Mexico. Approximately 1,750 square feet of the visitor center will be designated as exhibit space to complete this project. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will provide the Contractor with a basic conceptual exhibit floor plan. The work on this project will involve cost estimates, planning, subject research, copy writing and editing, illustration development, graphic development, photo research and acquisition, fabrication of exhibits, design, installation of exhibits, background painting or murals, photomural development, cabinetry, diorama fabrication and installation, installation of panel framing/mounting, fabrication and installation of reader rails, wiring and fabrication of on/off control switches from exhibits to Audio/Visual equipment systems including DVD players, Flat Screen LCD monitors and speakers. The total performance period is expected to be 300 calendar days. Bid evaluation and award will be based on the best value to the government. Evaluation of quotations will be made on experience, technical expertise, past performance, and price. The project solicited is restricted to small business concerns, NAICS 339950 and the Small Business Size Standard is Not to Exceed 500 employees. The solicitation is anticipated to be available on or about December 14, 2006. At that time, copies of the Solicitation may be obtained at http://ideasec.nbc.gov and http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
