This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about December 11, 2006. TELEPHONIC REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This project consists of furnishing all labor, materials supplies, materials, machinery, incidentals and supervision necessary for the removal of woody vegetation (trees, shrubs and brush). Work includes the grinding of resulting stumps, greater in diameter than 2" to a sub-surface depth not to exceed 4" and the treatment of the area with lime as needed before the area is disked and seeded with native grass. A SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR JANUARY 10, 2007 AT 10:00 AM. CONTRACTORS SHALL MEET AT THE MAINTENANCE SHOP, 1990 MAINTENACE WAY, RICHMOND, VA. The NAICS code is 561730. The government estimate for this project is between $100,000 and 300,000. BIDS ARE DUE JANUARY 24, 2007 BY 12:00 PM.
