- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE:     The VA National Acquisition Center will issue Request for Proposal (RFP) VA-797-07-RP-0010 for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to procure Alpha-Adrenergic Receptor Blockers. The estimated annual usage is 30,000,000 Capsules OR Tablets. Capsules/Tablets must be compatible with automated dispensing units (Baxter ATC Canisters, Optifil, etc). The contract period will be for one year plus four one-year option periods. The contract will be distributed through the VA Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor. Solicitation No VA-797-07-RP-0010 will be electronically issued in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 on or about December 19, 2006 with a closing date of January 11, 2007. The NAICS code for this procurement is 325412. Any future amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be available electronically for download at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available, and no telephone requests for paper copies of the solicitation will be accepted.
