Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the construction of an office/visitor center building at Waccamaw National Wildlife Refuge in Georgetown, SC. Work under this invitation consists of providing all labor, transportation, equipment and materials to construct the office/visitor center including all site work utilities and miscellaneous items of work in conformance with the drawings and specifications. Work also to include construction of new sewage disposal system, and work associated with paved roadways and parking areas. This is not a small business set-aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 236220. The size standard is $31.0 Million. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 12/29/06, with a 30 day closing. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued. The IFB documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under IFB Number 401817B001. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments.
