Description
WANTED TO LEASE Seeking expressions of interest For Office Space TO THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT The United States Government desires to lease, seeking expressions of interest, for approximately 25,900 rentable square feet of Office space within the following delineated area: North: Randolph Street South: Jackson Blvd East: Dearborn Street West: Wacker Drive Within the Central Business District for Chicago, Illinois, City of Chicago, Illinois The office space must be first-class office space in an existing or newly constructed office building. The space must yield a minimum of 21,508 and a maximum of 22,600 occupiable square feet for the agency?s personnel and equipment. The space must be fully serviced and altered to meet the Federal Government's standards for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. The space must be contiguous, preferably on one floor. Occupancy is desired by the second quarter 2007 for a lease term of Ten years, five years firm. The General Services Administration is not using tenant brokers to represent the Government in lease negotiations or transactions at this time. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence they are authorized to represent the building's ownership. The current Government lease will expire in the near future. The government is interested in considering alternate space if economically advantageous to the government. In determining whether relocation would be economically advantageous to the Government, the General Services Administration (GSA) will consider cost factors including , but not limited to, the total cost of the physical move including telecommunications equipment, LAN systems, office furniture (conventional and systems furniture workstation) and telephone systems.
