- Description
- The work consists of placing approximately 350,000 cubic yards of mechanically excavated material across 22,000 linear feet of levee to raise levee elevations. Approximately 900,000 cubic yards of maintenance dredging with a deep draft pipeline dred ge,and depositing material in the designated confined Placement Area. The estimated completion time is 300 calendar days (approximately 450,000 cubic yards of dredge material per month). Estimated solicitation issue date is on or about 17 January 2007. T he estimated cost range for this project is between $5 million and $10 million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $18.5 million and will be advertise d, UNRESTRICTED. Plans and specifications will not be available in paper format or on compact disc. For security reasons, all technical and engineering data related to this solicitation will be distributed using the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedT eDS) system.
