Item 0001 NSN: 2840-00-166-2357RV, P/N: 753213. Item Description: Compressor blade that is mounted in a disk with 74 additional blades of the same size and type airfoil. The function of the 13th stage blade is to be installed in a 13th stage compressor disk as part of the N2 high speed compressor to provide compressed air to the combustion section of the engine. Dimensions are as follows: 2.5?long X .454? thick at the base. Applicable to: TF33 Engine Delivery: 2408 EA MARCH 2009 Quantity: Min 1204, Max 3010, BEQ 2408 New Material Solicited. New/Unused Surplus Material may be considered The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 27 December 2006. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 29 January 2007. The anticipated award date will be 28 February 2007. No telephone requests. Hardcopies of the solicitation will not be sent from this office. The solicitation will be available for download only at www.fbo.gov. However, at this time it is anticipated that this requirement will be sole sourced to United Technologies. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
