Description

The National Park Service, Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is soliciting qualified small business organizations to enter into a firm fixed price contract to provide, install, rent and service debris boxes at various sites within Santa Monica Mountains NRA. Contractor shall provide all the necessary labor, equipment, trasportation and professional expertise when requested to provide, install and service boxes. The contract will be awarded for one base year and four one year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the government. The base year and each option period will be awarded and exercised subject to the availability of each fiscal year's funds. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract to the vendor who offers the best value of price and past performance. It is the Contractor's responsibility to obtain permits if necessary. The National Park Service welcomes the participation of small, minority, and women owned enterprises. The NAICS Code for this action is 562111, with a small business size standard of $11.5 million. This solicitation will be issued electronically on the Department of Interior's (DOI) National Business Center (NBC) website: http://IDEASec.nbc.gov. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with the Department of Interior are requested to register at the NBC website, at "Vendor Registration". In addition, as part of the E-Government Integrated Acquisition Environment (IAE) initiative throughout the Federal Government, all vendors are required to register at the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website: www.ccr.gov. Offerors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register at the NBC website to receive notification of this specific solicitation. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee of notification. Subscribers to this service are ultimately responsible for reveiwing the NBC website for all information relevant to this solicitation. This solicitation will be available on or about December 21th, 2006. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued and telephone requests or fax requests for this solicitation will not be accepted. The date for submission of offers is January 9, 2007 unless otherwise indicated in the actual solicitation.
