- NOAA's Marine Operations Center-Pacific has a requirement for a contractor to provide all supervision, material and labor necessary to perform dockside repairs to the NOAA ship OSCAR ELTON SETTE. All work is expected to be performed at Pier 45, Snug Harbor, Honolulu, HI. Performance period is expected to commence approximately 12 December 2006 and be completed on or about 22 January 2007. Work will include, but is not limited to: Installation of Double Wall Fuel Lines on EDG, Replacement of the Rescue Davit Wire Rope, Modification of Lift Raft Cradles, Repair of the Aft Crane, Replacement of the Aft Fire Pump Strainer, Painting of Anti Roll Tank, Installation of Trash Compactor, Replacement of Bow Thruster Cooling Suction Line, Replacement of the Galley Stove, Installation of Aluminum Mast and VSAT, Relocation of the Paint Locker. The vessel will be available for inspection 10/30/06-10/31/06 in Honolulu, HI. Please contact Steve Koven at (808)832-3256 for vessel inspection information. Vessel particulars include: Overall Length 224'0", Beam Molded 43'0", Draft Design 15'0", Displacement 2301 LT, Speed Sustained 10.5 knots. All responsible sources may submit a bid for consideration.
