Description

This is to provide an update on the status of the Future Army System of Integrated Targets (FASIT) Program. The Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Contract has under gone a name change to better reflect the concept of the overall effort to be accomplished under the ID/IQ contract. The title of the ID/IQ contract is “Integrated Target System and Components (ITSC)”. Currently the Acquisition Plan and Strategy is being coordinated internally for the Integrated Target System and Components (ITSC) ID/IQ contract. Upon PM TRADE’s approval of the Acquisition Plan, we will provide an updated Request For Proposal (RFP) schedule. In the mean time, the FASIT Team will be posting on the STRI Web Site, several FASIT Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and draft ITSC Statement of Work and Specification for industry review and comment. The following is the scheduled posting dates – Range Effect Devices ICDs (Smell, Illumination, Audio, etc) 16 August FASIT Presentation ICD 16 August FASIT System ICD 16 August ITSC Specification and Statement of Work 23 August NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (08-AUG-2006).
