Description

It is the intent of this agency to award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This agency intends to award to Trusted Systems, Inc., 86 York St STE 3 MD 21787-2159. JCSE requires a NSA Class 5 IPS Security Container with the following specifications: a 4,000 BTU/Hr Internal Heat Exchanger; 52"H x 27"W (30" at louvers) x 45"D(outside dimensions); 1,650lbs Empty weight; 27U Usable rack space, 33"D; 19" Roll Out Rack Frame Assy, 26U; 26"D PDS Junction Box(in order to connect securely to the current PDS system so that no one can access the wires), 12x12x10. The heat exchanger and PDS Junction Box are both MANDATORY items that need to be in this security container. A contract for NSA Class 5 Security Container will be awarded to Trusted Systems following no response back to this notice of intent. The purchase of this security container must be done through Trusted Systems seeing to that there has been a sources sought previously posted out with no Reponses and no one able to quote on this product.. Market research was conducted for the purchase of this security container and Trusted Systems is the only contractor found able to supply this item as we require. If no response to this notice is received by 12:00pm EST on Thursday, December 14, 2006, the award for this NSA Class 5 Security Container will be made to Trusted Systems.
