Description
This synopsis is for information purposes only. FISC Norfolk Contracting Office Groton intends to award on a sole source basis a contract to Apptis, 14155 Newbrook Drive, Chantilly, VA 20151, for the maintenance and service in support of McKesson Automatic Pharmacist for the Naval Health Care New England Brunswick and Portsmouth Facilities. Lease Equipment and services include: lease of the automatic pill dispenser; lease of the computer link; lease of the McKesson cassette counter; and lease maintenance for the McKesson Accumed and the Premium Pharmacy 2000. Also included are applicable licensing fees and warrantees. All equipment and services covered by the intended contract are specific to the McKesson machines currently in use at the two pharmacy sites. This anticipated contract is a follow on contract with McKesson, contract N32411-05-P-0214. The proposed contract action is for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
