Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, National Conservation Training Center is seeking a customized off the shelf course on Congressional Operations to be conducted on Capitol Hill Washington DC Mar 12-16, 2007. The course should provide a comprehensive look at a variety of congressional operations and organizations and show how Congress affects the daily operation of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The course should include appropriation and budget processes, floor procedures, role of congressional liaison offices, leadership and organization in Congress and provide an opportunity for participants to interact with the Members of Congress, attend congressional committee hearings and observe floor action when congress is in session. As much as possible the activities during the week should be geared toward the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service operations.
