- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic (MLCA), Norfolk, VA is seeking sources that can provide a small passenger vessel in accordance with the attached purchase description. The length of the vessel shall not be less than 55 or exceed 65 feet in length. The vessel?s hull shall be constructed of steel or aluminum, and is desired to be constructed to meet the requirements of Title 46, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 177, Subpart C. See separate attachment for complete description. The vessel will be used as a shore based (cradled) training aid for the Coast Guard Marine Inspections and Investigations School located at the USCG Training Center Yorktown, VA. Interested parties should submit their business name, address, telephone number and business size. A set-aside determination has not yet been made. Interested parties shall submit their business size and shall include any applicable preference program (i.e. 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Small Business).
