Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, VISN 9 Acquisition Service Center (90C) will issue solicitation number VA-249-07-RQ-0074 under the Commercial Test Program for a contractor to provide Positron Emission Tomography (PET) or Positron Emission Tomography (PET)/Computed Tomography (PET/CT) Services for beneficiaries of the VA Medical Center, 1540 Spring Valley Drive, Huntington, WV 25704. ALL WORK PERFORMED WILL BE COMPLETED AT THE CONTRACTOR'S FACILITY. Contractor facilities MUST be within a 30 MILE RADIUS of the VA Medical Center, 1540 Spring Valley Drive, Huntington, WV 25704.      Anticipated contract period is 1-5-07 through 3-31-07 with two optional renewal periods of three months each through 9-30-07. The NAICS code is 621512 with a small business size standard of $12.5 million. It will be determined at the date of publication of the solicitation whether this procurement will be set-aside or unrestricted. Please review this information in Block # 10 of the SF1449 BEFORE you submit a response to the solicitation. The electronic solicitation will be available for download on or about 12-18-06.   All quotes are due at the Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 9 Acquisition Service Center (90C), 3400 Lebanon Pike, Building 5, Room 156, Murfreesboro, TN 37129, no later than 2:00 pm CST 12-28-06. Any amendments issued will be available for download at the same site. It is the responsibility of the contractor to obtain any amendments issued. All questions must be addressed IN WRITING to the contracting officer. Oral communications are NOT acceptable in response to this notice. DO NOT contact the VAMC Huntington with any questions concerning this procurement.
