GENERAL 1.1 SCOPE OF WORK: The Ft Meade Police Department, Ft Meade, Md. requires Psychological entrance examinations for in-processing police candidates. The psychological screening SHALL be done by a certified Forensic Psychiatrist and Public Safety Psychologi st to ensure that standards that are set forth in AR 190-56 and Title 5 of the Code of Federal Regulations are met. The evaluation SHALL include (1) the Reading Test Assessment and (2) a minimum 45 minute face to face interview between the Psychologist an d the applicant. 1.1.2 ADDITIONAL: Medical screening will be conducted if it is disclosed by the applicant during the entrance examination that he or she has had one of several psychiatric disorders listed in Appendix C, AR-190-56. The additional test that will be admini stered is the MMPI-2 (Minnesota Multiphase Personality Inventory and the IPI (Inwald Personality Inventory). 2. OPERATIONAL OBJECTIVES: (1) To develop a strong and successful Police department through careful and diligent selection of the best possible police candidates. 2.1.1 CONTRACTOR FURNISHED: The contractor shall provide: (1) Upon submission of his/her offer the following credentials: (a) Certificate as a member of the American Psychological Association, (b) Certificate(s) including the name(s) of personnel perfor ming under the contract that validates them as Police and Public Safety (Forensic) Psychiatrist(s) and (c) Contractors past performance accomplishments. (2) Provide: a facility within a 75 mile Radius of Ft Meade for testing and evaluating applicants, (3 ) all materials used in association with the testing process, (4) all personnel and administrative tools necessary to furnish the government with completed evaluation assessments, and (5) Not Later than (48) hours after the evaluation of each applicant a w ritten FINAL REPORT, which will include a detailed psychological analysis, assessment, and recommendation of suitability for each Police Officer candidate to the Director of Emergency Services. 2.1.2 GOVERNMENT FURNISHED: The Government will provide a detailed job description for each candidate to the Medical Examiner for screening of potential candidates. 2.1.3 EVALUATION SCHEDULE: The Government will provide the evaluation schedule within (2) days after contract award. The Contractor must provide all evaluations within (10) working days of receipt of the evaluation schedule. 2.1.4 CONTRACTOR OUTBRIEF: Contractor will provide an after action report of the pros and cons of the examination process to the Government within (10) working days after the final candidate has been evaluated. 2.1.5 POC: Lt.
