Description
This modification is issued to change the title of the solicitation from Vehicle Maintenance Complex, Fort Bragg, NC to Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Construction and/or Design/ Build of Vehicle Maintenance Complexes. The Vehicle Ma intenance Complex, Fort Bragg, NC project will be the Sample Task Order that will be used in the evaluation of PHASE II and the first task order of one of the contracts that will be awarded. The life of the basic contract is for a base of three years. The magnitude for the sample task order is $35,000,000 to $50,000,000. This modification is issued to change the type of award that will result from this solicitation. The subject solicitation is being changed from a single award to an IDC type MATOC (Multiple Award Task Order Contract). The pool size (number of contracts t hat may be awarded) is anticipated to range from 3-4 contractors. The pool of contractors which successfully receive an award will share a program capacity of approximately $250M. Task orders issued under this MATOC will be firm-fixed price. This modification is issued to revise the evaluation factors for the subject project. The new factors and their importance is listed below: The following evaluation factors for Phase I and level of importance Factor 1-1 Corporate Relevant Specialized Expe rience, Factor 1-2 Past Performance, and Factor 1-3 Technical Approach Narrative. Factor 1-1 Corporate Relevant Specialized Experience: This factor is more important than Factors 1-2 and 1-3. Factor 1-2: Past Performance: This factor is equal in importa nce to Factor 1-3. Factor 1-3: Technical Approach Narrative. Factors 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, together are equal in importance to Factor 2-1. The following evaluation factors for Phase II and level of importance Factor 2-1: Building Function and Aesthetics, Factor 2-2: Building Systems, Factor 2-3: Site Design, Factor 2-4: Sustainable Design Considerations and Factor 2-5: Management Effectiveness Factor 2-1: Building Function and Aesthetics: This factor is more important than Factors 2-2 and 2-3 and significantly mo re important than factors 2-4 and 2-5. Factor 2-2: Quality of Building Systems and Materials: This factor is equal in importance to Factor 2-3 and more important than Factors 2-4 and 2-5. Factor 2-3: Site Design: This factor is equal in importance to Facto r 2-2 and more important than Factors 2-4 and 2-5. Factor 2-4: Sustainability Requirements: This factor is more important than Factor 2-5. Factor 2-5: Management Effectiveness.
