Description
The U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Harpers Ferry Center, is soliciting proposals to provide department-wide contracts to establish nationwide support services for museum interpretive exhibit fabrication. These contracts are designed to respond to a need, for fabrication of moderate size exhibits, rehabilitation, and additions to existing exhibits and production of quick-response, temporary exhibits. Facilities in which museum exhibits are located include contemporary visitor centers, contact stations, and historic buildings of various types. Historic buildings, which contain museum exhibits, include homes, public buildings, forts, industrial buildings, and architectural monuments or memorials. Work includes, but is not limited to: travel to Harpers Ferry Center and other sites for project review; Project Management; Fabrication Drawings; Samples/Mock-ups/Prototypes, Exhibit Structures; Electrical/Electronic; Graphics; Conservation Guidelines; Setup and Installation; and Project Closeout. A specific scope of work will accompany each task order. The government anticipates award of up to ten Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contracts. This solicitation is totally set-aside for small businesses. These contracts will be issued for a one-year period with priced options for four additional years of continued performance. Each contract will contain a guaranteed minimum of $5,000 for each year. The maximum workload for each contract will be $1,500,000 per year. The solicitation will be available via Electronic Commerce on or about January 3, 2007. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued.
