- Description
- Naval Medical Logistics Command has a requirement for comprehensive diagnostic radiology services in the Radiology Department located at Naval Hospital, Beaufort, SC. The successful Offeror shall provide coverage services for 10 hours daily Monday through Friday, and up to 6 hours daily coverage on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Weekend and holiday coverage is required only as needed to accommodate the accumulated workload generated from the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) and Branch Clinics. The specific hours during which Saturday, Sunday, and holiday services are provided shall be at the discretion of the Contractor but shall be performed between the hours of 0800 and 1600. The Contractor will be paid only for the actual weekend and holiday hours worked. The contract resulting from the anticipated solicitation will be for a base period of six months with four option periods of one year each and one option period of six months for a total of 60 months. Award will be made to one Contractor on a firm fixed price contract. Services are required for the base period of 31 Mar 2007 through 30 September 2007. Offerors shall be required to provide documentation/information that they meet all qualifications to perform the required services and have the technical experience to do so. The solicitation will be available on the NMLC home page at http://www.nmlc.med.navy.mil on or about 18 December 2006 and will remain open until 30 days after date of issue.
