Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound (FISCPS) in support of the Naval Hospital, Bremerton WA, has a requirement for key license cards for a VISX Series 11 PRK Laser Surgery system which is used for refractive eye surgery. The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with VISX USA, Inc., 3400 Central Expressway, Santa Clara, CA 95051. The VISX key cards are proprietary and only sold by the manufacturer for use in the VISX Star 54 Excimer laser system. The laser system will not operate unless valid VISX key cards are used. Therefore, this notice is published for informational purposes only. Additional sources will not be sought at this time. FOB destination: Naval Hospital, Bremerton, Wa 98312.
