- This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price contract, to include a one year basic period and three additional one year option periods for the procurement of the Aircraft Adapter Group-Standard Flight Data Recorder (SFDR) applicable to the C-17 aircraft. The Aircraft Adapter Group-SFDR is used to extract data from the Standard Flight Data Recorder to the laptop computer at the organizational and depot levels of maintenance. This adapter is required to download the data off of the SFDR. CLIN 0001: NSN: 4920014905368BA; NOUN: Aircraft Adapter Group-SFDR; P/N: 17G550550-1; HEIGHT: 11 Inches; WIDTH: 19 Inches; DEPTH: 19 Inches; WEIGHT: 25 lbs; MATL: Electronic cable, USB to RS-422 Adapter; & case made of polyethylene (data available for manufacturing). SCHEDULE: The basic period will include (CLIN 0001) with the quantity range of 12 each, and (CLIN 0002) with the quantity range of 2 each. There is a First Article requirement (CLIN 0003), whose quantity is 1 unit, as part of the production quantity; Test Plan (CLIN 0004) with a quantity of 1; and Test Report (CLIN 0005), with a quantity of 1. Option periods one, two, and three (CLINS 1001, 2001, 3001), consist of the quantity range 1-10 each, to be exercised from time to time. DELIVERY: The Test Plan is due 60 calendar days from the date of the contract, the Test Report is due 180 calendar days from the date of the contract, and the First Article is due within 240 calendar days from the date of the contract. Production articles are due 120 days after receipt of contract. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 2 January 2007 with the approximate response date of 1 February 2007. Solicitation will be issued as a request for quote (RFQ). JUSTIFICATION: 10 U.S.C. (a), Full and Open Competition. ?Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award.? See Numbered Note 23. No telephone requests. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED.
