Description

The Joint Program Manager, Nuclear Biological Chemical (JPM NBC) Contamination Avoidance is requesting information and seeking sources regarding technologies and/or methods for detecting and identifying liquid and aerosol chemical and biological warf are agents in support of the NBC Reconnaissance Platforms specifically to include the NBC Reconnaissance Vehicle (NBC-RV), the Joint Service NBC Reconnaissance System (JSNBCRS), and the M93A1 Fox Reconnaissance Platform. Complete and partial solutions are welcome. Desired specifications include, but are not restricted/limited to: Size: approximately 5.5 cubic feet (35x20x14 inches; HxWxD), 200 pounds; Detection and identification time: Chemical less than 45 seconds; Biological less than 5 minutes; Syste m Power: Peak power less than 1000W, Operating lesss than 500W; Input Voltage: 20-31 Vdc; Temperature Range: Operating -25?F to 120?F; Storage -60?F to 160?F. Humidity (operating): 5-95% Relative Humidity. Shock and Vibration: MIL-STD-810E. Electromagne tic Interface: MIL-STD 461. Mean time to Repair (MTTR): less than 30 minutes. Data Storage: Capable of storing and maintaining 72 hours of continuous operational data in memory. Any interested parties must submit and provide concise information showing a superior understanding of fundamental problems and technology solutions. Interested firms should submit literature/brochures not exceeding thirty pages describing their technical capabilities, item design details and operational characteristics, production capacity (monthly sustainable production rate, maximum production rate, and time frame for first and subsequent deliveries, location of manufacturing facilities, and unit product ion costs as available/applicable.
