Description

Red River Army Depot (RRAD) intends to issue a commercial item, Request For Quote (RFQ) resulting in a Requirements type contract. Multiple awards may result from Solicitation. The contract period will be 12 months after contract award, two (2) optio n years with no guaranteed minimum or maximum quantities. Funds will be obligated by issuance of delivery orders (DO). Delivery is within 14 days after receipt of delivery order. Cloth items are to be pre-shrunk material. Items will be worn over clothing. Items can be bid as the Brand listed or an Equal Brand. Items required are Caps (Kromer Krushers, Style K), Shopcoats (Universal 1700 / KT30), Aprons (Chemical Grainger Mfr. Model 4T299A, and Denim, Grainger Condor Mfr. Model 1N874A ), Boiler Coveralls (Un iversal, Butcher Wear 5920), Flame Resistant Coveralls (Universal, Proban / FR-7A (801-6), Insulated Coveralls (Walls Industries), Industrial Coveralls (Universal Style CT10 ), Flame and Acid Retardant Coveralls (Universal Nomex IIIA, Style CNB6NV), Welder s Coveralls (Bulwark, CEH2NV), and Welder Jackets (Universal, Proban / FR-7A). The Safety Apparel items that RRAD uses has proven effective with current industrial environments. Individual characteristics, QUANTITIES AND SIZES, are listed with each line it em and WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE SOLICITATION. This is a SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE and all products will be manufactured by Small Business contractors. Contractor shall provide descriptive material that clearly describes the salient characteristics The solic itation will be available for download from the RRAD procurement web site on or about 25 January 2007 at https://www.redriver.army.mil/. Firms downloading the RFQ are asked to check the web site to ensure notification of any future amendments.
