Description
CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS: Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, 110 9th Avenue South, Room A-604, Nashville, TN 37203. DESCRIPTION: The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement for the acquisition of security system services for newly installed Critical Infrastructure Security Program (CISP) systems for security, operational, communications and data system(s); planning/installation/trouble-shooting/maintenance of similar security, operational, communications and data system(s) components/systems for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers facilities located throughout the Nashville District and other Corps Districts and fa cilities as necessary. The installation of the integrated security systems must be based on the criteria established by the CISP, Critical Project Security Program (CPSP), and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Center of Expertise with restrictions for inst allation equipment and software generated by the recommended manufacturers list of authorized components, or other systems and components as directed. The Contractor shall be certified on the C-Cure 800 software and experienced in the Pelco systems and p rogramming Pelco systems. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and services necessary to plan/install/trouble shoot/maintain the proposed systems and existing systems as directed. The statement of work with addition al information will be provided in Section C of the solicitation to assist in the preparation of a proposal that shall include the tasks required to qualify and provide the required supplies and/or services. This acquisition is being pursued as a hub zone set-aside utilizing the North American Industrial Classification System code 561621 which corresponds to SIC 7382. The Small Business Standard Size is $11,500,000.00. The estimated solicitation issue date is on or about January 5, 2007 under solicitation number W912P5-07-R-0002. Proposals are anticipated to be due on or about February 6, 2007 (30 days from issuance of the solicitation). The solicitation will be a nego tiated acquisition. There will be no public bid opening. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by using a secure website known as the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS). FedTeDS is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies. It is fully integrated with other electronic government initiatives such as Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPPS) and the Central Contract Registration (CCR) databases. In order to obtain information from FedTeDS, you will first be required to register with CCR at http://www.ccr.gov. The CCR database is a part of the Business Partner Network, an e-gov initiative, and it will be used to validate vendor identity. Effective October 1, 2003, all government contractors must be registered in CCR prior to receiving an award. No federal materials can be downloaded until you have registered under both sites. Plans and specifications will not be provided in hard paper copy. The solicitation and any amendments will be issued via I nternet only. It is the contractors responsibility to check FedTeDS at www.fedteds.gov daily for any posted changes. In addition to the above, contractors are also required to be registered in the On-Line Representations and Certifications Application ( ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov prior to award. All offerors are encouraged to visit the Armys Single Face to Industry Website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi to view other business opportunities. THIS PROJECT IS BEING ADVERTISED SUBJECT TO THE AVAILA BILITY OF FUNDS. CONTRACT TYPE / EVALUATION: The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, contract for a base and three (3) optional periods to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms with all the terms and conditions of the solicitation and whose proposal is determined to represent the overall best value to the Government.
