Classification Code: F= Natural Resource Management Product Code: F099 = Other Natural Resource Services NAICS Code: 115112 = Soil Preparation, Planting, Cultivating, Fertilizing (FAC, Revision 2005-07) The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Ukiah Field Office, Ukiah, CA require the service of a Transline Herbicide application to BLM managed land located in Colussa County, CA on the Payne Ranch. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, permits, and transportation necessary to provide the above service at the locations noted per the Solicitation. General locations of the ten units, are shown on the map(s) attached to the formal RFQ when submitted per EC. All units will be treated with the herbicide Transline in order to control the spread of yellow starthistle (YST). Cut off date for this project will be March 31, 2007. The Statement of Work will cover the General Information, Description of Work, and Stipulations which will apply to this project. The Contractor is responsible for reading, understanding, and complying with the SOW to assure that all requirements and regulations pertaining to this job are adhered to. Contractor may use existing trails for ATV and 4x4 vehicle access. Stipulations within the SOW clearly define the responsibility of the Contractor and the transportation requirements. Contractor must be a Certified Pesticide Applicator licensed in the State of California and be familiar with any pertinent requirements within Colusa County. Contractor is responsible for any cleanup of herbicide spillage, as well as any expenses relating to cleanup and disposal. A Hazardous Material Spill Contingency Plan is to be approved before spraying begins by the BLM. You must be current with your registration with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website at http://www.ccr.gov. The RFQ will be posted on or before January 4, 2007.
