Description

Work to be performed under these specifications includes: 1) saw cut and remove existing damaged concrete; 2) repair and/or replace existing reinforcement (as needed); 3) place new concrete in the areas to be repaired using replacement concrete; 4) furnish and install inspection frames in the asphalt seal recesses; 5) rehabilitate spillway bridge expansion joints; and 6) traffic control. Award will be made to the offeror submitting a proposal which conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government considering the non-cost and cost factors being evaluated. The technical factors and subfactors to be evaluated are as follows: 1) Concrete Demolition, Removal and Placement Operations and Methodology, 2) Company Experience (in like or similar work), 3) Past Performance, including timely execution, 4) Key Personnel, and 5) Safety. The price range for the work is $100,000 to $250,000. The solicitation package will be available on or around January 17, 2007. Proposals due date is tentatively scheduled for February 20, 2007 at the Bureau of Reclamation's Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation; additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 per set. All reasonable sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 238110. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1771. The Small Business Size Standard is $13.0 Million. This acquisition is unrestricted and available for full and open competition. The specifications and drawings will not be posted to the internet; however a complete solicitation package is available in hard copy. To request a hard copy of the solicitation, contractors must fax a request to (406) 247-7798, Attn: Hart Blackeagle. The request must include contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, Federal tax identification number and their Dun and Bradstreet number. Note 1: Effective October 1, 2003, any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in Central Contractor Registration. Contractors may register at http://www.ccr.gov. Note 2: Effective January 1, 2005, any contractor submitting a quotation, offer or proposal to the Government must complete their Representations and Certifications online.
