- Description
- The Contractor shall supply all labor, material, supervision, equipment and transportation to install a new Softener System for Boiler Plant located at Beltsville, Maryland in accordance with the Statement of Work, drawings, and specifications. All work is to be completed within 30 calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A site visit is scheduled for December 18, 2006, 10:00 a.m., meeting at Bldg. 426, Beltsville, MD, BARC-East. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 and the annual size standard is $12.0 million. This acquisition will be procured as unrestricted, under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. This is a request for Quotation (RFQ), using procedures from FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about December 4, 2006. If you are unable to download the solicitation, a written request may be submitted to the Contracting Officer requesting a hard copy. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits the quotation considered most advantageous to the Government, considering price and other factors. Anticipated award date is January 5, 2007. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (16-NOV-2006).
