The Arts Festival event will occur during the week of October 17 through the 24, 2010. The VAMC in Tomah Wisconsin is hosting this 2010 National Veterans Creative Arts Festival and to the best of our knowledge the Radisson Hotel La Crosse is the only hotel who is capable of providing a minimum of 12 handicapped accessible and a minimum of 115 standard sleeping rooms per night. The conference room space requirements the hotel will be providing is 1 conference room with a minimum 3,000 square feet, 4 conference rooms with a minimum 1,000 square feet, 3 conference rooms with a minimum 700 square feet and 3 conference rooms with a minimum 600 square feet. All floors and conference room space must be wheelchair accessible. As the host site, Tomah VAMC will be providing medical care and support for all the participants during the art festival; therefore, the hotel and conference accommodations must be within close proximity of each other and within 50 miles of the Tomah VAMC. The hotel facility must be FEMA approved and listed on the U.S. Fire Administration Hotel and Motel National Master List found at http://www.usfa.fema.gov/hotel/search.cfm. The hotel facility must also be compliant with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (Public Law 101-366) (42U.S. C. 12101 et. Seq.). The (NAICS) North American Industry Classification System code is 721110. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Office within (seven) 7 calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to: Great Lakes Acquisition Center, Bldg 5, Attn Kevin Baier, 5000 W. National Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53295 or via fax 414-904-5440. Responses received will be evaluated, however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
