YR03 591 BEQ, YR04 580 BEQ and YR05 580 BEQ; U/I: Each; DELIVERY: 31 JAN 07 to Tinker Air Force Base; APPLICABLE TO: F100/200/220/229 Engine. SIZE/DIMENSIONS: O.D. DIAMETER APPROXIMATELY 45 INCHES. I>D> DIAMETER APPROX. .43 INCHES. HEIGHT: APPROX 2 INCHES. WIDTH: APPROX 1.5 INCHES. AUGMENTOR SYNC RING CONTROLS MOVEMENT OF CONVERGENT NOZZLE SEGMENTS BY A SERIES OF INTERCONNECTED LINKS. MATERIAL: TITANIUM ALLOY. Anticipated Solicitation issue date: 2 JAN 2007. Anticipated award date: FEB 2007. No telephone solicitation requests will be accepted. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved sources. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible Source Approval for future awards. If an offeror?s SAR package is approved, but a first article is required, the solicitation will be amended to include first article line items and clauses. Further information on how to become source approved may be found at www-ext.tinker.af.mil/BC/. To receive Government drawings, FEDTEDs registration is required. NOTE: An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program manager or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor Concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict Confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
