Description

The proposed contract is set aside 100% for small business concerns. The planned date for the release of the solicitation is January 4, 2007. The Contractor shall provide approximately two thousand, five hundred (2,500) trunk lockers with trays. T he Contractor may be required to submit a first article for evaluation. The first one thousand, two hundred fifty (1,250) trunks are to be delivered on or about April 15, 2007. The Government will furnish a firm delivery date by the end of January 2007. Another one thousand, two hundred fifty (1,250) trunks are to be delivered on or about July 15, 2007. The Government will furnish a firm delivery date by the end of May 2007. Once established, the Contractor shall deliver on the scheduled dates so as no t to interfere with United States Military Academy (USMA) cadet scheduling. The Contractor shall arrange the vehicle(s) to arrive at USMA between 0600-0700 hours. Driver(s) are to call the LSSO Warehouse, where they will be given instructions to the deli very point (Cadet Central Area). Vehicles will be spotted and the lockers shall be issued from the truck trailer to the cadets. When the vehicles are empty, they will be released and the Government will complete any necessary paperwork.
