Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The USPFO for Kentucky has a requirement for up to 90 each Freedom II Jumpstarters (North Star Model 12/24 4-B) or equivalent and up to 90 each Freedom I Jumpstarters (North Star Model 12/24/ /36 3-B) or equivalent. Dial a volt with Off position, camouflage paint, heavy duty rugged case with handle, pneumatic tires, LED power indicators, common 110 receptacle with portable cord, batteries which are land/sea and air non-hazardous, battery restr aining cover, allows for restart attempts after one hour of recharging time; full recovery within four hours. X4 battery group 1 and cable quick-disconnects with twelve foot clawNATO application. Vendor must provide equipment that is of equal or better s pecifications to the models listed above. Specifications for the Freedom I and Freedom II are as follows: equipment to include cranking amps (12 volts) to 3000 CCA, cranking amps (24 volts) to 1200 CCA, cranking amps (36 volts) to 2100 CCA, large pneumat ic tires, three step terminal seal to ensure leak free operation, smart start and remote coil cord. Jumpstarters must have a direct current voltage acceptance system 12V DC/24V DC output and/or 12/24/36V DC, and must be reverse polarity protected with coi l cord system. Equipment will include a one to three year warranty on unit and parts. Equipment will be shipped to Lexington, KY within 30 days of receipt of order acceptance. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. All vendors must be regi sted in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database. Quotes are due no later than 10:00 a.m. 11 Jan 2007.
