- Description
- This amendment to RFQ 66894 is issued to clarify the requested delivery date as 120 days ARO; remove FAR clause 52.219-23 as it does not apply to this acquisition; and post the below questions and answers: Question 1. Can you confirm the size of the focal plane array you list in your solicitation? The industry standard for mid format arrays is often 640x480 pixels, so I am curious as to the reason you ask for a 640x512 sized array. Answer 1 . Because a 640x480 pixel array is the industry standard for this range camera, we would accept a 640x480 array as long as all other requirements are also met. Question 2. If we can satisfy the 10K + thermal human detection range, will you accept a smaller array size? Answer 2. Nothing smaller than a 640x480 is acceptable. Question 3. On the two camera mount specification, would you like the thermal and visual camera to be mounted & Housed individually, Or in a single enclosure with additional space on the pan tilt head for an additional sensor? Answer 3. Individual, separate mounted cameras is preferred. However, a single enclosure or combined mounting configuration will be considered. Question 4. On the hard wired or wireless specification, Would you like hard wired and wireless? What range for wireless? Range from command and control center to actual camera. Answer 4. Hard wired is required . Wireless capability of the system is also requested. A minimum wireless transmission range of three (3) miles is requested. Question 5. On the monitor spec, What size would you like? Answer 5. 10"-12". Question 6. Does this system require any recording Capability? Answer 6. No. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (19-DEC-2006); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
