- MESA AREA TREE THINNING SERVICES. AG-0261-S-07-0004. THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING AND PRINTING IN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS. The project consists of tree thinning services with associated slash treatment and related work in compliance with its terms, specifications and provisions. This includes furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals. Approximately 394 Acres. The project is located on the Emmett Ranger District, Boise National Forest. Contract unit's location will be shown on Vicinity Maps and Contract maps in the Solicitation package, Section J, in List of Attachments. The general work vicinity may be reached by Forest roads that are accessible by standard two-wheel drive pickup during normal operating seasons. A four-wheel drive may be needed when roads are wet, icy or snow covered. Some roads shown on vicinity maps may not be drivable with the use of 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle. Some units require a walk-in. NAICS code: 115310. Size Standard: $6.5 Million. Est. start date is 4/01/07 with completion by 11/30/2007. See numbered note #1.
