Description
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) requests to procure Consulting Services to provide computer support including technical support, guidance and problem resolution and installation for hardware and software for computer systems and network applications necessary for the performance of research activities of the Perinatology Research Branch (PRB). The Contractor shall furnish all the necessary personnel for the performance stated in the Statement of Work, which will be included in the Request for Quote (RFQ). Tasks to include but not limited to: Service: 1) Demonstrate support for team building goals that foster group unity; 2) Identify problems that may affect the quality of services or deliverables; Clinical Database: 1) Develop, document, maintain and update a computerized unified patient medical record; 2) Develop, maintain and update a Windows-based network system; 3) Develop, maintain and update, procedures and guidelines for patient data management; 4) Assess and document PRB user needs for required data items; 5) Develop data forms for the collection of information; Graphics Requirements: 1) Produce high quality diagnostic images from ultrasound, MRI, CT; 2) Provide graphic presentation of research results; 3) Develop, write and produce video; 4) Collaborate on computer graphics; 5) Develop, document and maintain procedures and guidelines for an inventory system; Administrative Database: 1) Develop, document, maintain, and update procedures and guidelines; 2) Display at any time administrative database information; 3) Assess and document PRB user requests for data items; 4) Develop data forms for approval by Project Officer. This work is to be performed at the Hutzel Women?s Hospital/Detroit Medical Center. The RFQ will provide further tasks. This is set aside for small businesses. Award will be made based on Best Value. Responsible vendors that are capable of providing NIDDK with this service may request a copy of the RFQ in writing or by FAX to 301-480-8501 to the Contracting Office prior to the closing date of this notice. It is anticipated that RFQ NIH-NIDDK-07-132 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award date is January 12, 2007. Quotations must be submitted in writing to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases 6707 Democracy Blvd., Room 774B, Bethesda, Maryland 20817 Attention: V. Lynn Griffin. Fax quotations must contain offerors names, address, telephone number, fax number and email address. FAX quotations will only be accepted if dated and signed by an authorized company representative.
