- Description
- The Coast Guard intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole-source procurement to Alascom, Inc, 505 E Bluff Dr, Anchorage, AK 9905-1108 for the maintenance of a microwave link between Shemya and Attu islands. Vendor must provide planned yearly maintenance and non-planned maintenance as needed. The microwave link is located on an AT&T facility and will require coordination with AT&T for maintenance. Equipment to be monitored and maintained includes: Stratex DXR 100 protected radio (This contains 2 complete radio units and protection switch), Telewave quadraplexer, Coastcom UX Unit, Loop telecom V 4300 Mini-DACS E1/T1 Converter, Gabriel 12 foot grid dish antenna, Coax and coax support items, C&D technologies AGM 15-48VCD Power Supply, 12 Volt Batteries - 8 each Liberty 1000 LS 12-25, 100 watt UHF Power Amplifier. The NAICS Code is 811213. The small business size standard is $6.5 million. The contract type will be firm-fixed price with a base year and four option years. If no responses are received within fifteen (15) days with sufficient information to determine that another responsible source is available, negotiations will be conducted with Alascom, Inc.
