Description The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services within the Omaha, Nebraska/Council Bluffs, Iowa area defined as follows: The contractor shall be located within the city limits of Omaha, Nebraska, or Council Bluffs, Iowa. Local transportation by bus and cab is available within the above city limits but not close to the offenders? housing facility, which is located at 1228 South Main, Council Bluffs, Iowa 51503. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. The quantities provided below are estimates of required services: BASE YEAR: Number of offenders: 132. Intake Assessments (one per offender): 2; Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit): 6,336 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit): 9,504; Mental Health Intake Assessment/Report (1 report = 1 Unit): 4 Units; Medication Monitoring (1 Monitoring = 1 Unit): 16 units. OPTION YEAR ONE: Number of offenders: 135. Intake Assessments (one per offender): 2; Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit): 6,480 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit): 9,720; Mental Health Intake Assessment/Report (1 report = 1 Unit): 4 Units; Medication Monitoring (1 Monitoring = 1 Unit): 16 units. OPTION YEAR TWO: Number of offenders: 139. Intake Assessments (one per offender): 2; Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit): 6,672 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit): 10,008; Mental Health Intake Assessment/Report (1 report = 1 Unit): 4 Units; Medication Monitoring (1 Monitoring = 1 Unit): 16 units. OPTION YEAR THREE: Number of offenders: 142. OPTION YEAR FOUR: Number of offenders: 146. Intake Assessments (one per offender): 2; Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit): 7,008 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit): 10,512; Mental Health Intake Assessment/Report (1 report = 1 Unit): 4 Units; Medication Monitoring (1 Monitoring = 1 Unit): 16 units. The Request For Quotation (RFQ) will be available on or after January 12, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The estimated closing date for the RFQ is about January 29, 2007. Instructions for downloading the RFQ are provided at this website; hard copies of the RFQ will not be available from the Government. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments of the RFQ, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed-price requirements contract. All responsible businesses may submit a quote which will be considered by this agency.
