- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. HIGH MAST LUMINAIRE/SUPPLY General Information- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Seagoville, Texas intends to award a firm-fixed price, definite quantity type contract to a responsible small business entity for the provision of high mast luminaires. The award will be based on price and price related factors. It is anticipated that an award from this solicitation will be made by January 12, 2006. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-14(a). Quoters are advised that the Contracting Officer will verify registration in the Central Contractors Registration database (www.ccr.gov) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (orca.bpn.gov) prior to award of any contract, by entering the potential awardee DUNS number into each database. Failure to complete the registration may result in elimination from consideration for award. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organization have the right to submit quotes equally with other organization for contracts for which they are eligible. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 335129 and the applicable small business size standard is 500 employees. SUBMISSION OF QUOTATIONS: On letterhead or business stationary, the following information is required: (1) Contractors DUNS Number (2) Quoted pricing per luminaire for the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN): CLIN 001- 28 High Mast Luminaire, 1000 Watt High Pressure Sodium, 208 Volt, Symmetric Refractor, Broad Beam Angle, Double Fusible Disconnect, Protected Starter, Adjustable Slip-Fit Bracket Designed to fit 2" pipe Permitting +/- 3" positioning Adjustment, with a 1000 Watt HPS Clear Mogul Base Standby Arc Tube Lamp. CLIN 002- 28 High Mast Luminaire, 1000 Watt Metal Halide, 208 Volt, Symmetric Refractor, Broad Beam Angle, Double Fusible Disconnect, Protected Starter, Adjustable Slip-Fit Bracket Designed to fit 2" pipe Permitting +/- 3" positioning Adjustment, with a 1000 Watt MH Clear Mogul Base Lamp. Example format for your quote: CLIN 001 28 x $_______ per luminaire = $ _______ total. A price quote for each CLIN must be provided. The price shall be FOB destination. (3) A completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (MAR 2005) if different from entry made to the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) site located at orca.bpn.gov The Government will make award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. The proposed price must include all associated charges, fees and delivery cost (FOB Destination) to Seagoville, Texas at 2113 N. Highway 175. Contractor must deliver these high mast luminaires within thirty (30) days from date of award. Quotes must be received at the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, 2113 North Highway, Seagoville, TX 75051 no later than 2:00pm local time on Friday, January 5, 2007.
