- Description
- Provide Professional Architectural Engineering services to Expand the Hemodialysis Unit, Project #578-07-108, Bldg. #200 at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital, Hines, Illinois. Work includes the demolition and renovation of approximately 2000 sq.ft. of space adjacent to the existing Hemodialysis Unit to accommodate 17 chairs/bed. Preliminary Study, Investigative services, CIH services, consultation/meetings with staff to establish specific program requirements, preliminary drawings, working drawings, specifications, including cost estimates, and construction period services will be included. The A/E shall provide comprehensive technical services including Architectural, Electrical, HVAC, Fire, Civil, Asbestos Abatement and related services as required for the design. Estimated construction cost is between $500,000 - $1,000,000. Area of consideration is restricted to 100 miles of the Hines VA Hospital, Hines, Illinois. Submit two (2) copies of SF 330 with appropriate documentation by close of business January 19, 2007. Selection criteria will be based on: (1) specialized experience and technical competence of the firm (including a joint venture or association) with the type of design required, (2) specific experience and qualifications of personnel proposed for assignment to the project, (3) Maintaining project schedules and project budgets; (4) Knowledge in design and construction requirements; and (5) Cost control effectiveness. No bid packages are available. This is not a Request For Proposal (RFP). NAIC #541330 applies. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
