- Description
- The USAF Test Pilot School (TPS) at Edwards AFB CA has a requirement for Qualitative Evaluation Support Services. Description of Services: The contractor shall provide T-6 aircraft and flights to support the USAF TPS Qualitative Evaluation (Qual-eval) Support Services. The Qual-evals are anticipated for Feb-May and Aug-Nov of each year. Flight times, number of flights and period of execution will vary somewhat but will be scheduled in advance. Qualitative Evaluation Program consists of approximately one hour of classroom ground instruction and a single Qual-eval flight for each student. The contractor shall provide appropriately rated pilot(s) and required maintenance crew for the daily operation of the aircraft while at Edwards AFB. Additional incidental support would include cockpit familiarization training, 2 hour pre-brief before each sortie, and debrief for all designated USAF TPS personnel. Contractor shall allow an Air Force inspection team to perform an initial on-site inspection of the aircraft as part of the evaluation of proposal process as well as a reoccuring aircraft inspection every two years thereafter. All Air Force Instructions (AFI?s) and Operating Instructions (OI?s) referred to in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) are available to the contractor/user through electronic media. Basic period of performance will be 1 Apr 07 ? 30 Sep 07, and 4 one-year option periods beginning 1 Oct 07 and ending 30 Sep 11. The NAICS code is 611512 and the SIC code is 8299. All interested offerors that possess the capabilities and equipment to perform this type of support service are requested to submit the following information.
