- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-09 (19 Apr 2006) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement change notice 20060412. It is the offeror?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The government intends to issue a purchase order for the following items: 8 each of Survey Meter, P/N: 8715, 8 each Radiation Probe, P/N B8722D with the following requirements: Precise Spatially-Averaged Measurements, Six Minute Time Average, Extremely Easy to Operate, Powerful, Microprocessor Design, Single, 30 dB Dynamic Range, Large Character Liquid Crystal Display, Display Fields in mW/Cm2, W/m2, V/m, A/m, and Percent of International Standards, Small Size, Ergonomic Design, Lightweight, Variable Alarm. A key feature of the Model 8715 is its ability to easily make precise spatially-averaged measurements. By simply moving the probe vertically in front of the body at a constant rate of speed providing a precise spatial average.
