- AMENDMENT 0002 SUPERCEDES REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, FA8518-06-R-70690, DATED 5 JUL 06 AND AMENDMENT 0001 DATED 1 AUG 06. ALL OFFERORS SHALL USE THIS AMENDMENT AND ITS ATTACHMENTS IN THE SUBMISSION OF THEIR PROPOSALS. OFFERORS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT WITH ITS PROPOSAL A SIGNED FACE PAGE FROM THE ORIGINAL RFP DATED 5 JUL 2006 AND THE SIGNED FACE PAGE FROM AMENDMENT 0002. This is a synopsis only. The Request for Proposal will be posted to www.fedbizopps.gov approximately 25 April 2006. This acquisition is for the following NSNs: 3655-01-353-6699RN (3000 gallon liquid oxygen tank), 3655-01-353-6700RN (6000 gallon liquid oxygen tank), 3655-01-353-6701RN (3000 gallon liquid nitrogen tank), and 3655-01-353-6702RN (6000 gallon liquid nitrogen tank). These items should be IAW commercial item description A-A-58000, which will also be posted to www.fedbizopps.gov. Required data will be IAW DD1423s, which will also be posted to www.fedbizopps.gov. A Requirements type contract will be established consisting of 5 Ordering Periods. The Best Estimated Quantities (BEQs) for the 3000 gallon liquid oxygen tank, listed in order of the Ordering Periods, are as follows: 17 EA, 18 EA, 7 EA, 5 EA, and 5 EA. The Best Estimated Quantities (BEQs) for the 6000 gallon liquid oxygen tank, listed in order of the Ordering Periods, are as follows: 4 EA, 5 EA, 4 EA, 4 EA, and 3 EA. The Best Estimated Quantities (BEQs) for the 3000 gallon liquid nitrogen tank listed, in order of the Ordering Periods, are as follows: 5 EA, 5 EA, 3 EA, 4 EA, and 5 EA. The Best Estimated Quantities (BEQs) for the 6000 gallon liquid nitrogen tank, listed in order of the Ordering Periods, are as follows: 3 EA, 4 EA, 4 EA, 4 EA, and 4 EA. This will be a competitive acquisition using Price Performance Tradeoff (PPT) procedures.
