- It is the intent of this agency to award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This agency intends to award to Capstone Government Sales Inc., 10101-C Brooklyn, NY 11236 The United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) requests the purchase of Micro Turbine Generator repairs. The vendor will be required to provide all parts, labor and transportation to repair two diesel generators so they will perform as per manufacturer specifications. These generators must be able to be started from a remote controlled station. Upon completion of work the contractor must demonstrate to USCENTCOM and the 6th Communications Squadron that these generators will function as the statement of work indicates. Market research was conducted that revealed numerous diesel generator repair technicians; however Capstone has identified themselves as the sole source for repairs of their generators. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by 26 DECEMBER 2006 at 1200 hours EST.
