- 10 Ton Overhead Crane located at Fort Hood, Texas (Building 1121) is date marked 1956 and manufacturing source cannot be determined. Overhead crane does not have any braking system capabilities to safely stop movements. Electrical system that power s the crane was installed in 1956 and considered unsafe based on type of fuse box in use. General Specifications: Overhead crane must be able to lift 10 tons, 30 feet high; crane must have East to West span of 21 feet; and crane must have North to South span of 60 feet. Request warranty of equipment for replacement parts/services provided. Seeking crane manufacturing sources willing to conduct a onsite visit at Fort Hood, Texas within the next 30 days to determine if overhead crane can be repaired to fu lly operate safely. Upon completion of site visit, requesting estimated price proposal to include applicable transportation, installation, maintenance training, labor, commissioning and testing cost.
