Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, Hoover Dam, has a requirement for annual generator maintenance service which shall include all parts, labor, travel, and any other associated required fees; in accordance with Manufacturers' recommendations on the following engines/generators: Onan Engine, Model #DGBB-50069004B3.9-G2, Serial #A02032005546173799, fuel is diesel, KW is 35; Katolight Engine, Model #L10FJW4VH4D1, Serial #LM188395110226, fuel is propane, KW is 10; Kohler Engine, Model #80R0Z2716BT-5.9, Serial #1675134412195, fuel is diesel, KW is 80; Kohler Engine, Model #80R0Z2716BT-5.9, Serial #1680324413026, fuel is diesel, KW is 80; Onan Engine, Model #1250DFLC-75207LKTA50-G3, Serial #C95057210433129848, fuel is diesel, KW is 1250. The Onan Engine, Model #1250DFLC-75207LKTA50-G3, Serial #C95057210433129848, should also include a four hour resistive load bank test, including documentation and test report, and coolant system flush and refill. Exact dates of performance of annual maintenance service on each piece of equipment will be determined by the Electrical Supervisor at Hoover Dam. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310. The size standard is $6.5 million dollars. It is anticipated that a Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about December 22, 2006, and awarded on or about January 9, 2007; however, all dates in this announcement are subject to change. The RFQ will be issued via www.fedbizopps.gov. It is anticipated this award will be a Blanket Purchase Agreement for three years. More than one Blanket Purchase Agreement may be issued for this requirement. A Request for Quote is being issued to facilitate submittal of quotes through electronic commerce, and to view all applicable clauses and attachments. Vendors are reminded that they must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration to be considered for award. Vendors can register at www.ccr.gov.
